No, no, no, you must respond with a Wikipedia article.
Also, the first article that you responded to has multiple times when Microsoft did this and you should go actually read it. Don't need the specific example that you think acts like a counterpoint to think giant tech corps are assholes and will act like it.
Yes, in the sense that they have fat stores. The example that comes to mind is pretty disturbing, so here's your chance not to read it: >!I read a thing about cockroach cognition a while ago but can't find it again, but it was about how the scientists studying them imposed human personality traits to them but got a harsh reminder that the behavior patterns weren't necessarily signs of intelligence or personality when accidentally crushing ones abdomen and seeing it try to eat its own exposed fat.!<
If you have a problem with how she is behaving, you will not be able to change it through external influence. If she really has ADHD (emphasis on disorder where it is negatively and significantly impacting her life AND is diagnosed) and is unmedicated, the single best thing she can do is get medicated, and that's her choice. If medication isn't working, she should talk with her provider about it.
If she requests help, feel free to provide it. Feel free to ask her (and not internet strangers) if there's something you can do to help her as she'll know what works and what doesn't as ADHD isn't a monolithic diagnosis and what works for one person might drive another up the wall.
Sorry if this seems a bit negative, but I was in school when all the Where There's a Will There's an A and all the techniques in the world did not make a difference to people that can't utilize them, but they can frustrate and shame people.
Yep, going through the first part of the ff7 remake and the combat is a puzzle. Don't do it right and get your ass kicked. MMO combat is the same: stack or die/spread or die, memories this dance, etc.
Foam earplugs if you're headed to a noisy area. I know too many people that have damaged their hearing by not protecting it at concerts and other venues with amplified sounds.
Agreed. I have some that just turn the volume down and I keep them on my keychain. It also helps me a lot when there's background noise to pick out conversation. After the first part of the pandemic, it seemed like everybody had been yelling on their zoom calls and it helped with that as well until either they adjusted back to IRL volume or I readjusted to it.
My experiences are usually either secondhand or from assholes who assume I'm safe to be racist around.
My Korean partner and I were traveling and met a business associate of hers who happened to live in the area. The associate brought her fiance. The fiance managed to complain about immigrants 3 times within the first ten minutes. I felt like I couldn't make a scene because it might impact my partner's work life so I just did my best to make it obvious that was not a welcome topic and then freeze him out of the conversation. He didn't pick up on it, either because he is an idiot or an asshole, probably both. This was in rural Colorado.
My partner has also gotten pulled over several times driving through Texas for being the wrong color. Instead of being able to remain in her vehicle, she was told she had to sit in the back of the police vehicle while they ran her plates or whatever excuse they had.
And there's always the "Where are you from? No, I mean where are you from?" questions.
The fetishizing of Asians also gets pretty gross, but I'd rather leave that one to the imagination.
She is adopted and has a white family that are Trump supporters. She gets used by them to say they couldn't possibly be racist, like that guy who has a black friend. Meanwhile, they call an apartment complex that has a lot of minorities living in it "the zoo." They also claim to be colorblind, which really made them dismissive to the issues my partner faced growing up in a predominately white town as well as more recent problems like the wave of anti Asian sentiment during around covid. Any disagreement with the family is an attack on them, so there's no hope there.
Her name is also very white sounding. People can get surprised if they've spoken to her via phone or online and then get introduced to her in real life.
Racism can be subtle. Thankfully my partner's found good, supportive spaces as well.
Adoption in general is a complicated issue. My family adopted a boy from South America after I had left the nest. That always gave me "white man's burden" vibes.
Both of the guards have a handle. If the guard that always lies pulls his handle, then the minecart will divert to the second track. If both guards pull their handle, the prisoners will be released. I used to work at a theater. A guy replied "You, too," when I said enjoy your movie. The other guy with him said his name and I remember it. I remember the brand and color of his shirt and shoes, his haircut, his glasses. He's who I think about when I'm falling asleep.
Just kidding, I only remember a new person after several encounters over weeks and having to ask their name dozens of times.

sexual side effects, anxiety, high blood pressure, blurry vision
once onboarding was over, it worked better for me than simulants because there was no ramp up in the morning and no crash in the afternoon or evening.
I stopped taking it because once the starting side effects (nightmares, even worse anxiety, even worse sexual side effects) started to wear off, so did the efficacy.
Yep, they seem to have gone away. Currently trying Wellbutrin. Too early to tell if it's working, though.
Sexual side effects included some ED but the main one I noticed was separation of orgasm and ejaculation. Ejaculation came first then orgasm maybe 20 or 30 seconds more of stimulation after. And that was a problem for penetrative sex because part of me wanted to be in a refractory period and the other part wanted to continue to have an orgasm.
