The rocket was undergoing a static fire test of the stage, in which a vehicle is clamped to a test stand while its engines are ignited, when the booster broke free. According to a statement from the company, the rocket was not sufficiently clamped down and blasted off from the test stand "due to a structural failure."...
It was because it showed Nazi symbols. This was applied for a long time for games sold in Germany and Austria and even accidentally for Switzerland (it sometimes gets convoluted in there because of the German-speaking part).
You're Your dad would have liked Killing Floor 1/2. They are very gory coop shooters where you kill mutant demon things.
The CEO would agree as he's Christian which explains why sadly the soundtrack is made of lame Christian metal. But that's OK, when I used to play it, would cut the game music off and blast albums like Behemoth's "The Satanist". It fits the game and completes the atmosphere.
The Russian president said Friday that his country will continue to develop its nuclear arsenal, days after signing a new mutual defense pact with Kim Jong Un....
ICBM is old tech but it has advanced a ton over the decades. It is insane how accurately the US can lob a nuke across the Pacific and hit a designated test target.
The new Russian ones are supposed to dodge interceptors at their final stage and fly crazy fast.

There is no certainty that LLMs can overcome the current limitations they are stumbling on.
I think developments in AI will come but there is no guarantee they will. They seem to be suffering from the Pareto Principle just like self-driving car ML models and this despite huge investments.
Breakthroughs are so interesting and the reason predicting the future of tech is so hard. Text embedding and "Internet scale" training are likely the things that allowed this AI boom and the amazing initial results.
I think many people see AI (and other tech) moving linearly from the current point forward but any software developer knows this is rarely the case. And no one can predict the next breakthrough.
It doesn't help the hype and confusion around ML/LLM/AGI. And because on the surface LLMs seem intelligent people misunderstand their capabilities (much like politicians). They certainly have fantastic uses just as they are now but a lot of people are overly optimistic (or pessimistic depending on your point of view) of our new "AI overlords".
Personally, LLMs are absolutely amazing at supporting me in my professional writing. I don't let it do my work but it helps me play around to find a better way to express some things like if I had a sparing writing partner.
The French version is called SCALP and the Brit Storm Shadow. Same missile as I understand it.
People were amused to see pictures of both together on the same aircraft flying for Ukraine.
I've had people above me fired in a startup and I was asked by the board of the company to lock their accounts and seize their professional laptops while they were in a meeting informing them they were fired.
The idiots had tried to stage a "coup" against the CEO which failed spectacularly.
Ukraine should be allowed to strike military bases on Russian territory from which Moscow carries out missile attacks against Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron said on May 28, Le Monde reported....
Appeasement or having Ukraine bleed Russia slowly rather than decisively kick them out. The US would rather keep Russia busy and weakened than back to their usual shenanigans. Sadly it's the Ukrainians who have to pay the heftier price of this.
I have serious doubts about how "clean" even a modern nuke is but modern weapons are supposedly more efficient and therefore cleaner than WW2 equivalents. The other factor is where the bomb is detonated.
At ground level, it irradiates and throws up more material than if it is detonated high up in the air in an air burst configuration.
In any case, any kind of nuke crosses a diplomatic line that would bring a world of hurt against Putin which is not worth the tactical win. His nukes are way more useful as a saber to rattle to scare off Western countries from supporting Ukraine too effectively out of fear of escalation.
I could only see Putin use nukes in a desperate last-ditch defense against invaders at Moscow's gates.
Nukes need high explosives. The most modern ones use extremely stable explosives but some of the Cold War era accidents in the US often did go boom but not BOOOOOOOM.
Still bad exploding weapons-grade radioactive material. Thankfully not as bad as a nuclear explosion.
Sorry to hear neighbour. If it's any consolation, on some of your highways, you can go hella fast.
In Switzerland we don't even have high-speed rail. We have at best pendular high-speedish trains but they are quite neat. We do pay a steep price for it but it beats being required to drive everywhere US-like (minus some exceptions).
Exactly, just like the Nigerian prince scam. Those who know about the scam or with enough critical thinking ability are not the marks. They want that small percentage of highly gullible people they can fleece easily.
With extra testosterone. I bet one of the YouTube grindset cons could make a fortune taking steroids and selling bull semen powder as the way to get swole.
