And now Spacetoon will forever forget this cartoon ever existed (because it has definitely aired it before)

Not a post, but a comment. And I hope it's this one because it's basically copying another comment.

Flash games.

I recommend Bluemaxima's Flashpoint if you want a hassle free way of doing it.

Toons. Vidya games. Choons. I guess card games on computers too. Old electronics. Going outside and touching grass. Simping over Europe (as a Moroccan who despises Morocco). Sleeping. Collecting literally anything I could think of. Ponies no, I abandoned those long ago.

Hmm...

I guess "outvention" works well, because... "out" is the opposite of "in", which is in "invention".

Other languages: English (obviously), French (non fluent), Dutch (still really really bad at it, not well enough to communicate with it yet)

Mint tea

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

Correct

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

Mint tea is basically an inseparable part of Moroccan culture, literally everyone here drinks it (except me, I'm not a fan of tea), so... please try it and see if you enjoy it.

VLC: it can do anything media related. I wish iTunes can do this without being so bloated.

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

No, but it does imply the existence of a Talking Ben.

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

I was referring to the cartoon dog called Talking Ben, you know, the guy we used to make phone calls with and he always replies with "ho ho ho"

But this is also a very good description.

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

Enjoy it.

Let me guess, buying cake is a crime now too, punishable by death even?

What a bunch of party poopers. Genocidal ones at that.

This just in: Israel hates doctors that help its victims too.

So I guess Israel hates the number 42 too.

Ok, I guess I have no idea what I was supposed to witness before this reply got deleted.

I'm basically a rainbow colored punching bag waiting to be used by homophobes (and transphobes) who just happened to train for boxing.

My country is filled with these people.

The universe IS the canvas. Everything else that was added to it (stars, planets, supernovas, black holes, gases, etc) is the paint.

There might be a copy of this canvas, but we can't know unless someone manages to prove that you can travel between universes. And even then, it's likely just either our universe with very small but effective modifications, or it's a segment of our imagination.

Downvote me all you want, but for the life of me, I never understood what this meant. Even when reading your post, I'm still confused about it.

And don't get me started on all the other "letters that succeed a slash" that I have no idea what they mean.

I'm basically f***ing stupid.

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

Got it

What are these "bass" and "treble" that I see in an equalizer ?

I am not an audio person, so do not have much idea about technical terms - but I hear the words "bass" and "treble" almost everywhere now, especially in the equalizer app that came with  a new bluetooth earbuds that I bought (yes, I am still very much a wired-earbud guy, just dipping my toes in the wireless earbud ocean)....

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

It's in the name. The first letter of "bass" makes a low frequency sound, something that comes out of a kick drum, whereas the first letter of "treble" makes a high frequency sound, something that comes out of a cymbal.

The mids are just mid frequency sounds.

I may have oversimplified it too much.

Made by Microsoft

Yes, that does exist, and no, it's not for consumers, but if it did, it would look and feel like an enshittified Linux distro.

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

Because quite literally everything in the world is a victim of it, and we're basically trying to raise awareness about it so that it doesn't spread any further.

Not that raising awareness about something on a less than mainstream social platform is gonna do much, but still, at least we can escape the platforms that already suffered from enshittification.

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

We don't, because bots don't know about us.

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

Why did I forget to mention that?

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

You guys know something about ponies? Imagine those, but shaped as humans. That idea basically horrified me so much that I decided the entire franchise it was a part of was not worth my time.

I am of course talking about Equestria Girls.

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

Hmm... I wonder why Linux has yet to rise.

I mean, we only have like 17 months until support for Windows 10 ends, it's not like it's that long.

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

I'm thinking the same thing with KDE Neon. Idk, Mint just feels WAY too similar to Windows. I get some people like that, but I don't wanna be reminded of something inferior.

Good luck with your mint.

@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

Eh, my lappy has terrible battery life regardless of what OS is running on it, and even then, I always use it plugged it anyway, exactly like Strong Bad (it's why I used the word "Lappy")

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

I guess that kinda makes sense.

But we'll, Ubuntu was basically the average computer user's introduction to Linux (even if it kinda sucks now), I kinda think it could still do the job fairly well... only for those users to switch to a potentially better distro.

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

That's a win.

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

Oh, I use it quite a lot.

Once I spent a few days with Ubuntu, I had a very strong reliance on the terminal for simply installing stuff (because I wanna avoid that Snap Store), it takes some time to learn, but I don't think it's that difficult.

I heard Cary Huang (known on YouTube as carykh) does some cool STEM related stuff, and... I guess some kind of live competition as well? It's too late for you to join it though.

First kompoder, I'm not sure what it was called or who made it but it definitely had a Pentium 4 in it. It was rubbish. And I had to spend 4 years with it before taking the leap to Vista, and man what a leap it was.

First phone... it was definitely a Samsung Star from 2009. It was pretty good, but then I got an iPhone 4 and never looked back... until 2 years into the flattening.

Literally asking for downvotes.

By the way, can I have some?

Resol ,
@Resol@lemmy.world avatar

It's way less addictive. Seriously, the last time I opened my Lemmy client was 5 days ago. Back when I was active on Reddit, I spent 3 of my waking hours on it every day, that's 21 hours a week.
