I've been working on converting my gaming PC to Linux for a few weeks, but everything is running, but it all is just a little jankier than I would like....
FWIW, I've got an i7-8700k with an RTX 3080. I initially had two major issues when I replaced Windows with Bazzite:
Steam doesn't do great with libraries on NTFS partitions. Supposedly there are workarounds, but I couldn't get them to work for me. I had to reformat a couple drives as ext4 (and do a bunch of file management in the process) before things would play nice.
I had my CPU overclocked to 4.8 GHz in Windows. BG3 kept crashing on me on Bazzite. Finally occurred to me to drop the overclock and I've played 40+ hours since, solid as a rock. Performance is comparable to Windows with OC. GPU temps are consistently better than Windows. Only thing I'm missing is HDR.
Bonus: GreenWithEnvy (for GPU fan curve) won't run in a Wayland session yet, apparently, so I've been running under X11 instead.

I was already sick of all the freaking Taylor Swift ads but Roku announcing that video ads are coming to the home screen was the last straw for me. Finally set up a Pi-hole and Roku ads are gone. I know it's an ongoing war and this is just one battle, but damn it's nice right now. I even became a supporter on Patreon. ❤️
I still run uBlock Origin on all my browsers, though.
My dodgy friend, I have appealed to my wife not once or twice but three times that we should drop all our subs and return to those placid waters that I sailed in my younger days. She has yet to relent in her view that we should stay on the right side of the law. I look for any opportunity to press my advantage. I've had this happen to me. I suspect it's one sad MRA type with a pile of accounts bringing the downvotes. He can sense when I post anything remotely respectful of women because his pee pee hurts. 😆
We don't keep bread in the house anymore but occasionally I want cinnamon toast. Nuke a little butter, mix in sugar & cinnamon, enjoy on saltines. It's a little messy because the sugar and butter won't completely emulsify but it scratches that itch when I'm baked.
It's strange but listening again to music from about 20 years ago, during a time when I was mostly sad and depressed, and where the musical choices reflected that, gives me a weird sense of nostalgia and longing for that time....

But I am an idiot who has been playing at frames rates between 30-60 on screens without VRR for almost all of my life so I can't even know if VRR is actually working or not. Will your display device or associated equipment tell you? My home theater receiver has a signal info button that will display the refresh rate or VRR, if enabled. Also has HDR mode if any, as well as audio input & output formats.
