There were a number of exciting announcements from Apple at WWDC 2024, from macOS Sequoia to Apple Intelligence. However, a subtle addition to Xcode 16 — the development environment for Apple platforms, like iOS and macOS — is a feature called Predictive Code Completion. Unfortunately, if you bought into Apple's claim that...
Our politicians are likely in it for the short term. We are so fucked. As it is, Malaysian politicians can't even decide if it's own ethnic chinese are citizens, or immigrants.
Anwar himself is just barely clinging on to his premiership, having been forced to work with the roundly criticized party of convicted former pm najib to form a coalition.

I'm really starting to think enployee abuse is not necessarily a corporate CEO thing. It may be human nature when given power over another human being thing.
The human serfs will have to proofread increasingly voluminous, numerous and complex output from ai systems. The product has become the master. Until the systems develop a sense of 'truth' beyond numerical statistics, generative ai is pretty much a toy.

I'm not sure this is an argument for ignoring the tos, or one for scrutinizing the shit out of it. Why bother if they're just gonna flip on you, when the software becomes part of your established/ preferred workflow? I want my perpetual standalone offline systems back. Never used ps since v4.

Can't do that without industry standards or open protocols. The reason your mouse works with any Mac/ PC/ Linux/ etc is entirely because standards. Meanwhile we are arguing about encryption and the color of chat bubbles, yet losing the point of market fragmentation. It's dumb.

They built an entire industry dedicated to gaming the search results, so I feel your frustration. Nowadays, if it's not some influencer telling you to try something, it usually a bunch of topic snobs who need the latest and best (read: most expensive) version of anything - completely unusable for a casual query. If you have friends or local communities with the same hobbies, I'd start there. Or start in the shops - you find out real fast of they're trying to push product on you, versus genuinely trying to help you find what you need.
My dad put a cup of water in my car during tofu deliveries to a hill resort. He said it was to ensure the tofu didn't get damaged in transit. But he was secretly developing my downhill racing technique. Apparently if I didn't spill the water, it meant that my cornering technique was 'smooth'.

Lol. Put together a bunch of armed, uninformed, unhealthy people with anger issues, a shortage of literacy and reasoning facilties and a propensity for individualistic, self centered motivations with delusions of grandeur under freedom of speech and self expression and what do you get? Color me surprised.
Every album I've ever encountered seems to have a mixture of bangers and one or more meh or outright flops. It's easier than ever to skip over the tracks now, but as the question asks: what's is, in your opinion, the perfect album, or does one/can one even exist?
