Nonsense! All you have to do is individually search each channel on the discord server and you just might find a brief thread discussing your issue 6 months ago, and then you just have to scroll for three minutes to find the comment with the resolution
Same. I got lifetime memberships to 3 usenet provides but the *arr suite gets ~95% of my media from nzbgeek. Now the only recurring cost is for my provider. Downloads are so much faster and reliable than torrenting, and the automation is amazing.
I'm sorry you are being downvoted for having a legitimate opinion. While I disagree with your opinion on Dolby 5.1 for Kirby Air Ride, I still went and upvoted all your comments in this thread. The hive mind on Lemmy around FOSS is too vocal and punitive at the moment, and I'm saying that as a Linux SysAdmin who is obsessed with open source alternatives wherever feasible.
Nice! I remember before smartphones listening to a local alternative radio station and then not always saying the names of the tracks and artists, so I would write down lyrics and then Google them when I got home.
I built a NAS and I have the full *arr suite running on it in containers. Usenet and torrent clients organize my media, and since it's a network share I can access everything from my devices.
Whatever they end up building will still be harder to navigate than traditional city layouts. An example one lemmy user mentioned in a previous post is how unfortunate it'd be if you lived at one end and worked at the other.
