I'm sorry you are being downvoted for having a legitimate opinion. While I disagree with your opinion on Dolby 5.1 for Kirby Air Ride, I still went and upvoted all your comments in this thread. The hive mind on Lemmy around FOSS is too vocal and punitive at the moment, and I'm saying that as a Linux SysAdmin who is obsessed with open source alternatives wherever feasible.

Same. I got lifetime memberships to 3 usenet provides but the *arr suite gets ~95% of my media from nzbgeek. Now the only recurring cost is for my provider. Downloads are so much faster and reliable than torrenting, and the automation is amazing.

Carter tells the paper he has never been a fan of the limelight, somehow forgetting what sort of attention a massive, angular truck would garner him.

Lmao dude bought the fugliest car ever made and didn't think twice about that decision

Lucky! I don't have one, so I just type 12345 on my dad's gun safe and borrow his 🤫

Enjoy! I watched it after ITYSL w/Tim Robinson first came out; It's really funny!

When I got this back in the day the subject line was something like:

Fw: Fw: Re: Fw: Fw: ad infinitum

Nice! I remember before smartphones listening to a local alternative radio station and then not always saying the names of the tracks and artists, so I would write down lyrics and then Google them when I got home.

Do you use the device you torrent on for personal things as well?

I'm just curious as I've permanently dedicated my laptop to torrenting. I've been too nervous to install anything but the VPN and Firefox on it. Now, I'm curious to mess around with Linux some more, which is what I use on it, but I can't fully test out what all I can do with it without signing into accounts....

I built a NAS and I have the full *arr suite running on it in containers. Usenet and torrent clients organize my media, and since it's a network share I can access everything from my devices.

Whatever they end up building will still be harder to navigate than traditional city layouts. An example one lemmy user mentioned in a previous post is how unfortunate it'd be if you lived at one end and worked at the other.

Interesting, I've never heard the harp in this song before bc I've only heard it on the radio. Just heard it now with my headphones though!

Maybe just initially download everything into one "To be sorted" folder first ;)

Will give this a try later, tysm! Apparently it also works with Android Auto?

My brother used to be able to get like 2,000,000 points with Mac at Tokyo Megaplex. That course was the best for tricks!

Honestly, I would skip straight to Terrifier 2. It's a much more polished film with developed characters than Terrifier 1, and you'd only have missed details about a minor side character who was also in the first movie. If you like 2, you can go back and watch Terrifier 1 (and All Hallows Eve, even though that one hardly counts as a movie or a Terrifier movie).

I read the manga it was based off of first and I've gotta say it is much better than the film. The disturbing part of the film is not from the original source. The manga still hits just as hard without that additional twist

Meanwhile I can't even get my boomer mom to switch to Google Messages from Samsung Messages because she'd "have to relearn how to use it." Then she just continues to complain that she can't send messages over WiFi, and that when she sends or receives pictures over SMS they get compressed... 💢
