If its processed locally and sent nowhere, why is this a concern? Unless otherwise.

Edit: I phrased it wrong. If MS claims its processed locally, and is like a second eye, why they would provide an exception to DRM contents. This could mean that some data might get sent to MS servers and transfer of DRM content is banned, this poses a legal risk. Who knows.

The thing is now a days smartphones are separated by only software. Pixels are a good example. They can give the camera tech to older devices but chose not to. Almost everything that can be achieved through s/w can be cross platform too, only if manufactures don't put virtual separation.

Got to agree with the conclusion of the review, while this seems like a decent offering (and I personally like the "retro" look), for Є400, you might as well get a A55 with a much better screen and probably longer security support (Android OS updates aren't that important these days).

The chip is the obvious problem here. Samsung's manufacturing is thermally inferior to something like snapdragon. Let's see what 2025 pixel can do after switching to tsmc.

Application icons in taskbar messed up after Gnome 46 update ( discuss.tchncs.de )

Applications like EndeavorOS Welcome, Tor browser won't show their actual icons on the taskbar after Gnome 46 update. I have observed that applications launched by invoking the binary through terminal using ./ behaves this way. (Not sure about the EOS Welcome) Is there any fix to this?...

But it was working fine until gnome 45. I tried multiple icons packs quogir, adwaita (default), papirus. Everything behaves the same. The same cog icon.

Does nothing launcher support work profile?

Basically the question. I use work profile (created with shelter). The stock android launcher supports this personal/work separation. But I want to know whether nothing phone launcher support this feature. I know you can install a third party launcher like lawnchair for this. But with these 3rd party launchers the gesture...

Yes profiles are system level, but there are certain launchers such as Lunar luncher that don't show any work related apps.
