Thanks. I don't care about online feature so it doesn't seem too complicated. I will probably grab a game to try this out and a few more and everything works without problems.
Super useful thanks! I was actually looking at psychonauts 2. I use a Steam controller so that controller thing is getting me a bot worried. I'll do what you say and see how that goes. Cheers!
Sometimes on Lemmy these seem like the only jobs that actually exist, but I'm sure there's a lot of people here with different and unusual lines of work.
I want to see if I can get a spark of the "old internet" back by making a starting page for myself with all kinds of cool websites. But not sure where to start because Google obviously will not work for this....

2 weeks ago, I suscribed to a pre-installed Nextcloud service. IT IS SO WORTH IT!!! It's much more that what I was expeting. Data storgage of course, but tons of super usefull apps. Deck to replace Trello, News for rss feeds, Only Office for an online suite, Memories for picture, a very usefull media player, and much more. In the age of AI, I'm never again storing anything on Google or MS storage. We nees to take the internet back, fuck the GAFAM.
I dont know if this has been asked before or if this may be a little goofy of a question but I didn't see anything relating to it and I'm kinda curious what the culture of Lemmy is like and what sort of common things people see....
Did you give ALVR a try? Some people got it working. I basically don't use my Quest with a pc because Windows. Hopefully things will be perfectly working in a few months, things move fast for Linux gaming right now.
After months of waiting, I finally got myself an instance with Libre Cloud. I was expecting basic file storage with a few goodies but boy, this is soooo much more. I am amaze by how complete this is!!! Apps let me configure my instance to fit everything I need, my workflow is now crazy fast and I can finally say goodbye to...
I mean, if that's the example you're going for.... It's actually quite easy to imitate Van Gogh, yet everyone has a reproduction somewhere at home. The fact that it's easy to imitate doesn't make it less artistic. If your vision of good art is photorealistic paintings, maybe you should open your mind about it. Have you actually been to some contemporary art exhibitions? I'm not saying you have to like everything but there's some amazing work being done by passionate people. Generalisation like "modern art is pathetic" doesn't seem to indicated a real understanding of art and intentions.

I'm french Canadian from my dad and native from my mom. I truly feel like most of the country would be more then happy if we disappear. They openly hate on french canadians and publicly pretend ro care about first nations but they really dont. I expect both cultures to be completly gone in a century or two, sooner maybe.
