Conference & Event Services for a local college.

(I didn't know what that meant until I started here, but essentially, we are the campus party planners)

Rhynoplaz ,

Man goes to memorial service and learns coworker's shocking secret!

Rhynoplaz ,

My stepmom's mom died, I found out my coworker sings in her church's choir.

If you knew him, you'd be shocked too.

Rhynoplaz ,

Hey shitty news sites! I'm accepting bids for part time click bait writing!

Rhynoplaz ,

Since this is an experience you had with a single person, here's my take on it: That interaction was one moment to you, but the other person had a lifetime to develop that mindset.

I don't know who you're talking about, or what their ailment is, but they've probably been discussing it online for a while, and have probably gotten a LOT of medical recommendations. Some of them, great advice from people with experience, the rest are crystal suppositories.

They probably just wanted to stick to the topic at hand or vent about an experience without having to sift through a bunch of people telling them about meds they've already researched or why they should go vegan.

Rhynoplaz ,

We should hang out once we don't have to work anymore.

Rhynoplaz ,

Can you explain? I can't make any sense of this.

Rhynoplaz ,

Sorry, but I can't help but think that there's a lot more to life than you imagine.

When you stopped caring about staying in good shape?

I completely stopped caring about 2 years ago, I realized I was never going to do anything with my good look and that I will never get into a relationship in my life, so I just figured out "what's the point then, I'm already invisible to women?" And I don't care about my health tbh......

Rhynoplaz ,

Your mistake is that you started caring again. That'll get you every time.

Rhynoplaz ,

I just think it tastes better than the other top brands.

I couldn't care less about being EXTREME!!, playing CoD or whatever the hell they market now.

Rhynoplaz ,

Have you tried being vegan? Sounds right up your alley!

Rhynoplaz ,

You misunderstand. OP mentioned in a reply that it's a replica made post Y2K.

So, no, it's not historic. It's neo nazi shit.

Rhynoplaz ,

Here's my similar shower thought: NOBODY is neurotypical. Neurotypical is just the theoretical exact middle of every personality. It's a completely average person, but nobody fits the description.

Rhynoplaz ,

Ok, there WAS that one guy, but he died in the 80s.

Rhynoplaz ,

How DO we ride bikes without smashing our balls?

Rhynoplaz ,

There's something about that phrase...

Rhynoplaz ,

Five years ago, I was in the middle of a pretty big change, so it would have been a well timed message.

"Things are going to get rough, but it'll all work out. You made the right choice."

When responding to a comment with multiple points, should one create a new thread (new comment) for each point, or should one make a single large comment containing individual responses to all points?

I encounter situations like this rather often where I am responding to a comment that contains many individual points/statements. I typically will respond with a single comment that contains a quote of each point that is being responded to with my response under neath the respective quote — and, sometimes, for added clarity, a...

Rhynoplaz ,

I don't like the multiple comment idea.

If the conversation is at the point where you are replying to replies, and you've sent me three rebuttals with each of them asking for clarification or verification from me, I'm now sending 3-6 replies back, which may require you to send 12 or more.

Also, I'd lose track of who said what and would end up referencing something from a conversation with someone else.

Rhynoplaz ,

I never look at the threads. I get a notification on my phone that somebody responded. I read the response, I reply to it if necessary. I'm not opening up the entire thread and reading through a conversation from the beginning again.

Rhynoplaz ,

Yeah, I usually take a long time to type mine out, rephrase it, take out things that might be too offensive, add to what wasn't offensive enough, and then submit my masterpiece.

Only to immediately go back and change all the auto correct typos and fix punctuation.

Rhynoplaz ,

The gleek. Someone else mentioned it on here. I've known a few people who can do it on command.

Rhynoplaz ,

Middle school in the 90s wasn't much different.

Why do people throw out old motors, bicycles, anything metal into rivers and lakes instead of a junk yard or the trash system?

I have been watching magnet fishing and people love to toss stuff over bridges without a second thought on the environmental impact. Hiding evidence I can almost understand but not lawnmowers, car batteries, etc....

Rhynoplaz ,

It's true, we cannot deny the allure of a BIG splishy-splashy.

Rhynoplaz ,

Heaven forbid anyone admit to making a mistake!

Rhynoplaz ,

Yes, that is exactly what I meant.

Rhynoplaz ,

However, thinking that murder will magically be legal for a sitting President as part of his executive duties, is slightly more based in reality.

Rhynoplaz ,

That is exactly what I meant. Thanks!

Rhynoplaz ,

I was waiting tables at the Eat N Park across the street from the bank where the "Pizza Bomber" exploded. We couldn't tell what was happening from where we were, but I was there.

Rhynoplaz ,

NOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T WEAR ANYTHING INTERESTING YOU HAVE TO WEAR HYPERMINIMALISTIC SLOP AT ALL TIMES OR YOURE UGLY AND WEIRD

I don't recall ever saying this.

I have noticed that millennials are more T-shirt n jeans, and Gen Z is more hoodies and pajama pants. Our Boomer parents never would have let us leave the house like that, so we do have a "sloppy" connotation with those clothes, but obviously the millennials must not mind as much since we're the ones buying those clothes for our kids.

Although, I cannot understand the return of mullets and pedo-staches.

Rhynoplaz ,

I love how 80% of the comments are "Fuck the president, I want to be an animal!"

I don't disagree.

Rhynoplaz ,

All that sugar.

Rhynoplaz ,

Although often considered a slur nowadays, Half-elves were the most common interspecies offspring in D&D.

It would only be considered beastiality by racists that view elves (or more likely, the humans) as animals.

Rhynoplaz ,

🤷🏻‍♂️😁

Rhynoplaz ,

Agriculture has proven itself to be a boon to humanity. It's our passion for excess that will kill us.

What band or music group would you not have minded if they didn't have a certain band member? ( kbin.social )

My pick is Five Finger Death Punch and the obvious answer is Ivan Moody. The guy radiates that alpha-male wannabe energy and it definitely rings through all of the songs he has written and performed with this band. The guy is just a prick and a self-victimizing asshole....

Rhynoplaz ,

I fucking LOVE malaria and I ain't letting him take that from me!

Rhynoplaz ,

The CIA does not allow them to disclose this information.

Rhynoplaz ,

If you're feeling extra frisky, slide a couple of those chips IN the PB&J!

Why Didn't Democrats Do More When They Controlled Both Houses of Legislature, The White House, and The Supreme Court During Obama's First Term?

I've been wondering for a bit why during the time the Democrats controlled the legislature, executive, and judicial branches during Obama's first term in 2008 more wasn't accomplished. Shouldn't that have been the opportunity to make Row V Way law and fix the electoral college? I understand the recession was going on but outside...

Rhynoplaz ,

I hear you, and I completely agree with your reasons WHY we can't compete, but at the same time, if and when we resort to lies and cheating, are we still the good guys or just more bad guys with a different color flag?

Most of the Republican party thinks they ARE the good guys. They are protecting the rest of us from the evils of an oppressive gubment and/or a vengeful God.

Obviously, you and I don't agree with that, but I feel more confident that I'm on the right side knowing that we're at least playing by the rules.

Rhynoplaz ,

I don't know if it's "lesser known" but I discovered boardgamearena.com last year and I've been addicted ever since.

It's free, but there is a premium membership that gives some extra perks.

Hundreds of boardgames that you can play with others online, from rummy and checkers to Wingspan and Catan.

They offer casual matchmaking and ranked competitive modes and tournaments.

Set up an account and invite me to your favorite game! I would love to learn it! You can figure out my username on there.

Rhynoplaz ,

I just checked. BGA doesn't have canasta. Sorry.

How do you feel about Hearts, cribbage or Kings in the corner?

Rhynoplaz ,

I like olives, but not all olives. There's some nasty olives out there.

Rhynoplaz ,

At first I thought you said Damon Wayans, and for the first time in ever, I thought about the movie Blankman.

Rhynoplaz ,

It's a great premise, but he shouldn't be a "superhero."

Superheros need villains and a reason to "save the world" Hulk would be a great story of someone who struggles with every day life trying to keep his internal monster at bay, but stuffing him into the superhero role just turns a psychological allegory into "Who we smashing today?"

Rhynoplaz ,

I'm starting to think maybe we just related to the whiney teenager more when we were one, (looking at you 90s TV show) but experiencing him as a jaded adult just doesn't hit the same.
