if I'm leading a project, I avoid this by begging POs to give me a sprint 0 where i solo code out all the scaffolding ground work before all the other engineers join the project.
Although Lemmy's userbase is quite large,it still is small enough that I do often see the same people in comment sections. It feels though, that I should recognise more names, because I can only remember around 5 individual ones.

there really is an issue though. it's an unregulated mess and for every ebiker who is a clean energy micro mobility advocate there's half a dozen people who buy them because they don't have a license for whatever reason or are trying to skirt as many road laws as possible.
that's not the point I'm making. I'm not saying those who are unlicensed do not have a right to transportation. I'm saying that there are problems in the space where regulations need to be applied.

ok hold on like why is everyone obsessed with zombies like come on slow shambling flesh eaters really?? have you SEEN a vampire? they're basically goth royalty with amazing cheekbones and they can turn into bats and compel you to do their chores ugh zombies are just like the participation trophy of the monster world and honestly vampires are the OG undead like have you read dracula that dude was basically a goth influencer setting trends for the afterlife and with the whole blood thing at least they have a semi-sophisticated diet unlike those braindead mcdonalds of the monster world like seriously gross and like super inconvenient plus vampires can like sparkle in the sunlight and have existential angst which is like the most relatable monster trait ever and zombies are just like mindless drones following the crowd
I mean there's a large sentiment that goes back to antiquity that technology is here to crush the working/creative man. I think people felt it was too on the nose that a tech company worth trillions was making a commercial that reminds them of that so directly. especially in today's day and age where people feel like certain industries are on the cusp of being completely wiped out by LLMs and stuff.
I've added some instances to the instance filters, yet I continue seeing those instances. Is there something else that I need to do to block entire instances?
The specific steps to block an instance will vary depending on the platform. If you're unsure about how to block instances on your specific platform, consult the platform's documentation or help center. Thank you for contacting Sync support.
