He thinks the economist has told Putin that this can not be sustained given Russia's capability and Western promised support. Putin might actually be listening and why he wants to settle on current control.

Recommendations of what fabrics to wear?

I want to be more respecting of my own sensory needs, and notice certain fabrics are incredible uncomfortable, as opposed to others. I've also noticed loose clothing feels more comfortable for me, then tight clothes. Cotton feels good, polyester does not. I understand this may potentially vary for each person, but wanted to ask...

Same! Though I did just buy a sun sweater made of modal (beech tree rayon) that seems really nice, although it's technically synthetic fabric because of all the processing. Waiting for it to dry before I actually try it on, but I really liked how it felt in my hands.

One outlier is a really old polo sweater that has this really smooth liner that I'm quite certain is entirely polyester but made with really thick strands weaved together. I don't wash it much which is probably why it's more than a decade old now and still in one piece.

Other then those two items everything is cotton. I find levis are the sturdiest and sometimes comfiest jeans if you get the baggier versions.

Yeah, I have to read the hecking fine print on every piece of clothing I buy just to make sure it's not going to create pollution. It's a pia and unfortunately necessary, but worth it.

Yep, it is inherent in human identity and it's absence is the likely cause of many, many mental health issues. I just used gThumb recently to try to post something I had inverted, but posting it to sopuli/lemmy scrubbs the exif data and it was posted as if I didn't do anything.

So, gThumb uses exif data to modify pictures which is likely what is added.

*What alternative are you using?

    I'm not sure about the infrastructure in your area (sounds like bike lanes would be equated to communism somehow), but if you really care; call up your city council/local government and lever the power of democracy to create better infrastructure for him (ask him to do the same, if he hasn't already).

    Other then that, just let him do his thing. If it's not a big deal to you, why bother? You've warned him about the rednecks, and that's the most you can do. From what I can tell from this rant, he seems to be coping well enough to live on his own and doesn't need parenting; indeed, he probably moved out to get away from his parents in the first place and you're probably just stressing him out.

    Just chill and don't support car culture.
