To me it feels like a big drop in activity on Lemmy over the past 6 months? So the weekly and monthly post are being forgotten and some are letting standards slip.
Number of active users is more or less stable, but it definitely feels like some people left (at least temporarily) indeed.
Although Lemmy's userbase is quite large,it still is small enough that I do often see the same people in comment sections. It feels though, that I should recognise more names, because I can only remember around 5 individual ones.

It’s like the tiniest step that could possibly be done, and it leaves the ability for Lemmy.ml users to place comments in every post across the Fediverse too - unlike a bona fide instance block, although to my knowledge there are no major instances that actually defederates from them.
The fact that even Beehaw admins haven't defederated from them is probably an indication that their users are not that problematic.
So ban me over my pro-Palestine stance and well the rule I broke was basically depicting child abuse/neglect. If you create a community, please try and populate it with content. I see a lot of new communities with 0-1 posts from the mod. That's not nearly enough to get people engaged - users are going to see that it's a ghost town and leave....

Do you recognise any usernames on Lemmy?
Although Lemmy's userbase is quite large,it still is small enough that I do often see the same people in comment sections. It feels though, that I should recognise more names, because I can only remember around 5 individual ones.
