You'll find that whilst far from perfect, that the UK is one of the most accepting and diverse populations on earth.

I'm not taking the bait. There's obviously many worse countries than the UK to be trans in and like I've already said, the UK isn't perfect but it wouldn't be as diverse as it is without being as accepting as it is.

Do you remember when their protest outside the HQ of BP made the news? Me neither, but I'm sure the high rollers on their 6, 7, 8 figure salaries felt terribly inconvenienced!

I don't have to agree with their methods or their ideology to recognise their right to protest. We're talking about dyed cornstarch here, it's not like they blew the thing up.

First-time home buyers: how did you feel about getting a mortgage?

An option for me to buy a house has come up very suddenly and it seemed like a good idea at first - but I look at a mortgage and think "that's 15 years I'll spend paying back, at absolute minimum. Probably more like 25 years" - how can I possibly plan that far in advance?...

In the UK, rent is substantially more than mortgage repayments.

Landlords will cry about their maintenance costs but I've never seen any maintenance that wasn't the cheapest fix possible by a cowboy family friend.

He's not sent one to me directly before, but there is a work group chat where similar videos have come up (all deleted by me) and I left a comment saying what I thought about those types videos which pretty much brought them to a stop.

People like OP are a chronic problem in the UK.

Yes, I know that "we queue" in the UK. So why not make a number of queues equal to the number of available lanes and then take it in turns when it's time to merge? Instead of making a single queue multiple lengths longer than it needs to be that will inevitably block even more junctions further back and cause even more traffic, YOU FUCKING MORON!!!!
