No, see, I owe them, because they decided, 36 years ago, to have another kid. And now the burden of love falls on my shoulders, after being kicked out at 17 for 'talking back'? Nah brah, I'm good.
I was a huge, massive, we're talking tattoos-of-the-bands-logo-on-my-body levels of fan of Avenged Sevenfold before Hail to the King came out.
That album is re-hashed 80s thrash garbage, but everyone loves it. The first 3 hard rock/arena metal albums they made (City of Evil, self-titled, and Nightmare) are one of the best trilogies in heavy music. Then Jimmy passed away, and the band hadn't been the same since. I'm still a fan of the 2001-2010 A7X, but beyond that, I'ma take a pass.
There needs to be actual content rules. TIL worked best when the mods actually adhered to those content rules. Otherwise you just have people posting all kinds of nonsense. Quality is better than quantity
I first joined Lemmy back during the big Reddit exodus of last year. I like many others wanted an alternative to Reddit, and I thought that this might've been the one. I made two accounts, one on lemmy.world and another on sh.itjust.works, in the June of last year that I used on and off for about 4 months....
But why do you care about engagement with your online posts? Is your opinion that important? Or is it just your need for external validation from the faceless masses?
Either way, some introspection may be good here.
Or, ya know, just go back to reddit, whatever dude.
Read the lyrics of 'Hip Hop', arguably their most popular song. I could pick some lines out, but the whole song really puts it all together.
Side note though: Stray From the Path is amazing. Check out The Downbeat podcast. It's their drummer, and he always has good, left leaning artists and guests on it. Great for a lot of industry insight from someone who is on the right (moral, not political) side of things.
I've put over 500 hours in, play it almost every day, and still have yet to complete the main story in any of my playthroughs. It's just so good, and I feel like completing the game will give it too much finality.
Although it wouldn't surprise me if something like this happened. But it wouldn't be X3s... That's not a rich guy car. I work with at least 5 guys that drive them.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West. The first 6 songs are great but the other songs is a mixed beg. It's a 7/10 not a 10/10.
Lemmy is a failed Reddit alternative
