If Russia use them and NATO respond with nukes or anything that will cause major problems, they'll send their nukes to the West (Europe, US), and the West will send them back. These will be done under orders if they do not hear anything, and very little action will be quick enough to prevent it.

Mutually assured destruction. The question would be who would survive? NZ? South America? Africa? Asia?

I'm fucked personally as I'm in the UK.

I would rather we didn't masturbate over nuclear weapons because what happened to Japan would be nothing compared to the loss of life on a global scale. It is a good option for nobody.

Yeah, I use TW and it just works. I game on it with no issues.

A supermarket trip may soon look different, thanks to electronic shelf labels ( www.npr.org )

Grocery store prices are changing faster than ever before — literally. This month, Walmart became the latest retailer to announce it’s replacing the price stickers in its aisles with electronic shelf labels. The new labels allow employees to change prices as often as every ten seconds....

Separate point, but are beehaw now not defederated from the world? When did this happen?

CrypticCoffee ,

Ah interesting. Appreciate the clarification. Not seen much from Beehaw in a while.

Lemmy.world has a higher percentage of questionable users for sure.

Do questions really need to be answered outside of work time? Are blockers identifiable in advance so a plan can be put in place. Not many things need to be done outside work hours and team members can cover vacation if something desperately needs to be done.

Lemmy.world. why does that not surprise me?

CrypticCoffee ,

Lol nah. But Lemmy world has a somewhat rude intolerant moderation policy and often users mirror that. There is good people on there, of course, but a reasonable percentage of folk who'd be at home on reddit and Xitter.

CrypticCoffee ,

So you created an echo chamber more familiar to what you know? I get lemmygrad and hexbear isn't for everyone but don't see a reason to ban. Lemmy.ml existed before the influx so has a mix and shouldn't be generalised.

Why does this feel lie a viral marketing campaign to get people to watch stuff on X?

"I interviewed Elon, got cancelled and he mad. Watch on X". It just doesn't add up to me.

Edit: It's not on X, apparently. It's on YouTube. So I was probably a little out on this. Very clever viral marketing still, but hopefully not to the benefit of X.

Then find another company and negotiate a salary you should be on. Maybe add on a bit more so that can negotiate you down to what you want. Ignore the question of how much you are on as much as possible. Answer with "I am looking for £x".
