Fleshgod Apocalypse, and more broadly, orchestral death metal is fantastic for this.

Two Steps from Hell does “epic” orchestral scores that highlight just how well soundtrack-style modern orchestral works pull this feel off. But I wouldn’t necessarily say they do it “better” than power metal.

PSA I'm not a metal head, this was based off of everything my metal head mate has taught me over the years so I may be way off sorry, I did choose my username for a reason.

Edit: just checked the wiki and yeah Dead carried a dead crow around in a plastic bag and would huff it before shows sometimes.

It could be a stacked humbucker, but I agree it looks like a tele bridge doesn’t it. Black metal is supposed to sound as bad as possible tho so maybe it’s all part of the plan
