They're both so dumb but one is an episode of Supernatural w/ JJ from Criminal Minds and the other is a monster porn paranormal romance starring Michael Trucco.

I think (but don't know for sure) Paramount basically gutted the Shudder human curation crew and spun up Ye Olde Algorithm for programming choice. I really love the idea behind what Shudder is supposed to be, but I've never felt the need to retain a subscription for more than a month at a time, a couple of times a year.

Good ones I see in this list:
    Hunter Hunter
    Valhalla Rising (although not "horror")
    Loop Track

💙📚 You may presume you'll know the story that unfolds in I THINK I'M ALONE NOW, but you'll be wrong as hell. I read this novella in a single sitting: Ali Seay has written a thoroughly enjoyable, vivid, violent, deliciously dark chunk o' horror set in the 80's that's, like, totally rad. (Grindhouse Press)

2024 marks the 45th anniversary of sci-fi horror masterpiece Alien, which was released May 25, 1979.

The first time I saw it I was pretty young, it was on TV and censored. We actually had it recorded on a VHS from TV, which is something my family did a lot. I only saw the full uncensored version years later! 😂

An angry alien Xenomorph comin at ya, bro. You're probably dead

Saw it when it first came out in theaters...my girlfriend peed on herself...embarrassing but funny.

I agree but, as a goth, I think making someone dress like a Clive Barker Cenobite would not be a punishment for me.

Behind the Mask is one of my all-time favorite movies (don't tell anyone but I like it way more than Scream 🤫).

Wow, thanks for reminding me about Leslie Vernon! It's been ages since I've seen it, but I was so excited back then. I urgently need to watch it again. In the meantime, I'm really looking forward to ‘In a Violent Nature!

💙📚 HOT DEMON BITCHES NEAR YOU from J.E. Erickson is an exuberant blast of gore & grue. The Horrors are heavy here, but balanced with deliciously devilish delights & a LOT of heart. (Lots of OTHER body parts, too.) You'll be disturbed, delighted, horrified- but also cackling. HELL, yeah! (Self-published)

WHEN THE DEVIL is a novelette from Emma E. Murray that packs many horrors inside of its compelling, feverish intensity. Libby's world is dark and cruel, and any peace, joy, or deliverance comes with a price. Devils abound, but sometimes the fruit they offer makes the damnation worth it. (Shortwave Publishing)
