I was originally unimpressed with but then it went from "sorta creepy but formulaic" to "I have no idea wtf to expect from this show" and I gotta say, it's definitely growing on me.

And a guest star from Wickie (Renée Elise Goldsberry of Girls 5eva) didn't hurt it, either.

I'm watching a 1989 Skinemax vampire movie I thought was the height of sexiness and romance in high school and, holy shit, the love interest has the most ridiculous mullet. Like, straight-up Nic Cage Con Air hair but w/ teased bangs. I keep getting the giggles 😆

The Damage Done combines Korean folklore with gruesome body horror in a fast-paced read that pulled me in from the brutal opening to the heart-wrenching climax. I feel as if the author tied me to a pendulum where I swung nervously back and forth, one minute being afraid for the characters and the next being afraid of them. @horrorbooks @horror My review is posted at https://wellwortharead.blogspot.com/2024/06/the-damage-done-by-tony-tremblay.html

I finally framed the gorgeous Black Phillip print @stina_marie got me for Xmas (by the incredibly talented Thornwolf https://www.thornwolf.com ).

I'll probably get a thinner mat at some so it doesn't cut off as much of the art but I lurve it so much. Also, please ignore my wonky photograph skills...I was trying not to be reflected in the glass 😆.

Eight-year-old Bela is the only child in a dysfunctional family full of secrets. Bela has also been keeping her own secret from Mommy and Daddo. She's been talking to an entity that hides in her closet. Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman brought back all of my childhood nightmares. I had to step away from this book more than once because it was scaring me. Another rainy weekend. It's a good day to stay in with horror movies. I was invited to watch an early screener of Pandemonium. I gave it a 7 out of 10 stars on IMDB Available May 27 in the US, Canada, UK and Ireland. On the same day, Pandemonium will be available on major VOD platforms, including Apple TV and Prime Video. French with English subtitles. My mini review is posted at https://wellwortharead.blogspot.com/2024/05/movie-review-pandemonium.html @horror @horrorfilm

What if you could get that perfect beach body with one easy treatment? Side effects include unbearable hunger and cannibalism. My review of Voracious by Wrath James White is posted at https://wellwortharead.blogspot.com/2024/05/voracious-by-wrath-james-white.html

I watched Abigail last night and I feel like this has been done before. The titles escape me at the moment but I have seen more than one movie where kidnappers end up finding out that it's not really a child they are holding for ransom. @horror

@biancotitanio @horror Everyone on my facebook friends list is saying how amazing it was so they made me want to watch it. I agree with the reviews you read. I should have read them first lol.

@KentuckyConjurer @horror yes! I was thinking it might have been like an old episode of Tales From The Darkside or Tales From The Crypt but I think you are right that it was an anthology movie not a tv series

This highly anticipated sequel to Until Summer Comes Around takes place ten years after the most momentous summer of Rocky's life.
Things have settled down in Old Orchard Beach in the years since the murders. The tourists are back as usual and Rocky lives a mostly quiet life, dealing as best he can with the knowledge that monsters are real, and that the first and only girl he ever loved was one of them. This is kinda cool and kinda creepy.

  1. Stare at the red dot on the girl’s nose for 30 seconds
  2. Turn your eyes towards the wall/ceiling or somewhere else on a plain surface
  3. Keep blinking your eyes quickly.

I started watching this one last night but dozed off halfway through. Not because I was bored but because I'm at that age where I shouldn't start a movie past 9pm. I'll finish it tonight. It gave off "Talk To Me" vibes with bad things that happen when people contact the dead. @horror
