Anything that may help develop better adblockers/paywall bypasses or exposes how/what of our personal information is collected is a win in my book. And this may very well be none of those things.
the type of earwax you have comes down in part to your skin type, Dr. Shapiro explains. People with oilier skin may have wet earwax, while those with drier skin tend to have dry earwax, she says....
“The only safe way to clean wax from the ear canal at home is with earwax drops,” Dr. Tweel says. That means applying a few drops of something like baby oil, mineral oil, glycerin, or hydrogen peroxide in your ear canal and letting it sit for a day or two
Basic blender went bad (motor ran but spindle wasn't rotating). I wanted to disassemble to see if it could be repaired. Three of the four screws were Phillips head. I had to cut the casing open in order to discover why I couldn't unscrew the fourth. It was a slotted spanner.
Churu is my secret weapon. Half a tube of that and mix in whatever meds and they'll scarf it up. It's not real cheap but it's worth it not to have to force it down them.
No problem. My little buddy just had hip surgery and pins put in his leg. While he didn't mind the meds for the first couple days, he got tired of them fast. The churu really helps, and helps keep them hydrated.
I don't think they know yet. He just had the surgery a week ago so the stitches haven't been removed yet and he's still confined to a smaller crate to limit his movement. The Dr. did say something about leaving the pins where they would be easy to remove later but I think that was only if needed.
Poor guy hasn't had a good month. He was just recovering from a black widow bite on his paw that got infected and made him sick. Not 2 days after he finished his antibiotics, he managed to severely dislocate his hip and break the top off his femur.
My mouse won't stop constantly scrolling and a replacement is a couple days away. How can I temporarily disable the scroll wheel? All the instructions I can find deal with xorg or xinput which I do not have. I can't find any scroll wheel setting in either settings or piper....
No company is going to legally go to bat for you for $10/mo. I love how Proton nonchalantly calls out the user's dumb move in the article:
Proton provides privacy by default and not anonymity by default because anonymity requires certain user actions to ensure proper OpSec, such as not adding your Apple account as an optional recovery method. Note, Proton does not require adding a recovery address as this information can in theory be turned over under Swiss court order...
It's best for anonymity to not use one at all. Proton provides a recovery key to allow access to your account if you manage to lock yourself out. Keep that key somewhere safe/secure.
It'll eventually wear off your skin. In a few days. On other, relatively non porous surfaces, it can be removed easily once cured. Porous surfaces like wood, cloth, or carpet? Sorry, it's here to stay.
The biggest hurdle I've ran into is that GPS resolution just isn't accurate enough. If you want something that can follow a planned route without having to rely on a bunch of obstacle avoidance (which is difficult enough in itself) then you'll have to set up some sort of local RTK in conjunction with the GPS.
Currently I'm just setting my mower up like a FPV drone that I can drive around remotely from the comfort of air conditioning. Hoping someone comes out with a good automated solution.

Anyone have any current recommendations for an open source (or one that works without internet) robot lawnmower?...
