Yes, but if I was only doing it for no ads, I'd rather just use ad block. Instead, I'm doing to to support the creators I watch in the laziest way possible, because I'm letting Google do all the work to spread the money out.
Tastes like the lolly ghost drops to me, which probably has less sugar than BBQ sauce because that shit is like 50% sugar and im always impressed BBQ sauce stays as a liquid
I lack the money to buy something from every creator I watch (literally over 100 channels subbed to), and premium genuinely does pay them more than ads. Sure, like half is going to google, but it's definitely the easier way to support the creators that does actually pay them.
There are programs like net limiter that you can use to just block access entirely for windows updates, every time one pops up to use data you can just block it, i think there's like 6 processes windows will try to use to update various things. It's not exactly what you are looking for, but it should solve your problem anyway.
There's a ton of overlap between the two, to the point where if you have one you should subscribe to the others community because the memes will still be very relatable
I think youtube has just started needing way more bandwidth than it used to. A few years ago, 100KB/s would load a videos page almost instantly, comments as well, and smoothly run 360p playback. Now even at 160KB/s I often spend 60+ seconds for parts of the page to even load.
I mean, my mobile phone was like 350aud, has survived literally dozens of drops from 4ft+, on a variety of surfaces from carpet and lino to gravel, concrete and bitumen. Literally every function of the phone works fine and there's no case, just a screen protector. It didn't come with wireless charging so I don't know how fragile that would be, but current phones are tough as shit.
The chassis of my phone is dented and smashed in dozens of places and everything it could do new it can do now just the same, except for looking pretty.
