Here’s one for you I think you will find fascinating and quite enjoyable and relatable.
I like the authors playful but candid style of writing.

Nice! That looks like some really good reading right there. I have not read the Bergstom textbook, but I am fortunate enough to have copies of both Strickberger's and Futuyama's textbooks at home and I really enjoyed both. It's such a fascinating subject.

A professor reccomended Professor Neil Shubin books as well. I’ve read all three and it really gave me a better perspective on life. Neil Shubin “Your inner fish”. Sooo much fun!

Losing Eden Why Our Minds Need the Wild by Lucy Jones, 2020

Today many of us live indoor lives, disconnected from the natural world as never before. And yet nature remains deeply ingrained in our language, culture and consciousness. For centuries, we have acted on an intuitive sense that we need communion with the wild to feel well.

I was out snorkling with my paddleboard the other day, when I found a lure for a casting rod stuck in a powerline above this channel 😂

    A nice hike yesterday 😁
But for the first time I had to explain to someone how "allemansrätt" or right of public access works.
They wanted to chase me out of their forrest because it was "private", but that's not how it works in most Nordic countries...

After a years long break I finally went out snorkling again, it was cold and windy, the water was murky, and I was barely able to got my wetsuit off afterwards. 😂
But I did find a stone of flint, that looks like it may have been hacked to be sharp on the bottom, so by my standards it was a success! 🥳
