The Last Philosopher is my first book under the subtitle, Nothing is Everything.

It's been called imaginative, funny, and unique. People have even gone so far as to compare it to #DouglasAdams and #TerryPratchett.
My response to that comparison, is to go hide under the covers for a week with embarrassment.

Big D - 11/10 review by Spookyspackles on The Last Philosopher. The story has got some very strong Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy vibes. If you don't know that series, but like some well written, cosmic ludicrousy, this book definitely has the potential to fit the bill. The MC's 'nickname' is definitely used for some subtle tongue-in-cheek humour, and there's some clever plays throughout the rest of the chapter that make it a treat to read. And while the narrator is weaving in the comedy, they are also weaving in a ton of worldbuilding. There are some tense shifts within the first chapter (potentially intentional), but otherwise, the flow, spelling, and grammar are peachy. Overall, the author humanizes the furthest from a human thing you can probably think of, and does it well. Excited to see Richard's quest come through!

    I would recommend this book to anyone who has ever worked in IT. Especially, executives and managers.
    Also, to anyone who has parents that are incompetent mosters (Incompemonsters TM) and need YOU to fix THEIR problems 😂

    A nice hike yesterday 😁
    But for the first time I had to explain to someone how "allemansrätt" or right of public access works.
    They wanted to chase me out of their forrest because it was "private", but that's not how it works in most Nordic countries...

    After a years long break I finally went out snorkling again, it was cold and windy, the water was murky, and I was barely able to got my wetsuit off afterwards. 😂
    But I did find a stone of flint, that looks like it may have been hacked to be sharp on the bottom, so by my standards it was a success! 🥳

    I The Road to Somewhere.
    It tries to explain the rise of populisim perticluarly in
    While I don't agree with everything in the book, it is pretty interesting.
    It works hard to avoid blaming the affluent (and never saying rich like it's a four letter word).
    But even while not saying the quite part out loud, it implies that both rich liberals and conservative are leaving the young and the poor behind. Which historically has not had the best results.
