What movie is this? Love them both so much

I should've known that. I love raising hope. Can't believe I don't remember this scene. Lol

Don't forget "too blessed to be depressed"= I think God will be angry with me if I admit life (read: murica) isn't perfect

My brother was born in 81, I was born in 91. It's weird how we're both considered 90s kids. Like, why that decade in particular seems so formative for so many. The 00s were my teenage years, and they did inform me as a person a lot, but when I think back on, like, the quintessential elements of my childhood, it's the late 90s, pre 911. Same for my brother.

Night shift security was great for that conundrum

I haven't worked night shift in 8 years, and I'm still tired all day and wake right the fuck at 11. Be careful, the allure of the night is a lasting one.

I always bring at least 4. Two for them to top, two for me to top, should we hit it off and have the time.

The Mahabharata podcast, both the one by Lawrence Manzo and Aarti Dhand. I haven't checked in a long time, but Aarti's wasn't finished yet. Lawrence's is. Both are fantastic.

I've been wanting to get one for forever, but was told you couldn't carbonate non water drinks, and to mix flavor into the carbonated water (which, to my thinking, would make it go flat...). In the drink mate, could I make Kool aid (with Splenda) and carbonate that? Cause if I can have fizzy cherry drink, I'll be a happy boy.

You who are so wise in the ways of science, can you explain to me if this is safe/will be super dangerous if exposed to water? Doesn't sodium, like, blow the fuck up when it comes in contact with water?

dharmacurious ,
@dharmacurious@slrpnk.net avatar

Okay, that makes a lot of sense. I was asking because I wondered how viable this would be in boats/ships, outdoor areas, off grid cabins, et cetera. Seems like it's basically the same thing, then, right? Like, proper battery maintenance and you're good?

You can't prove that. Orions are real, do not slander the Word of the great prophet Roddenberry, Peace Be Upon Him.

That sounds amazing. OMG I would so read that

Came here for grove.

One of the surnames on my mom's side of the family means "grove of trees near a bog" and comes from the same area as my best friend's surname that means "evil bog goblin"

I like to think that his family was evil bog spirits, and my family were good tree people, and he and I have mended the feud.

This has nothing to do with OP's question, I just thought of it when grove came up, and thought I'd share.

Yes, but they were excellent for kneeling on backwards, with your chest on the seat when you, uh, had need of that particular position for whatever reason.

Or so I've heard.

From a friend.

Knees on the knee part, chest/stomach on the ass part, palms flat on the wall, special friend behind you.
