Other studios envy them for sure. Hollywood feels a lot of nostalgia for the 2019 box office year, they probably have lots of anxiety that audiences won't go back to theaters. It's an embarrassment that they haven't been able to entice people back to cinemas, so the studios will do anything to keep these feeling of ennui at bay.

Don't worry, there are still some services out there that do this!

3D Blu-ray Rental

DVDInbox

And Gamefly allows you to rent movies, too!

Yeah, there was the 2009 movie, the 2019 TV series, and now an animated movie? What's next, are they gonna do a Watchmen comic or something? ^/s^

Unrelated, but I kinda like the look of the faded colors in this Simpsons image. Compared to this, the digital episodes look oversaturated.

Put the new eps out in the sun, they'll fade.

I tried that, but now my DVDs won't play anymore.

Don't worry, Warner Bros. already sold the distribution rights to GFM Animation. They couldn't cancel the movie even if they wanted to.

Can't wait to experience the tech support call center scams in Dolby Atmos.

Who would win: every human in the world vs. every animal in the world?

I'm thinking the animals would easily defeat us, since trying to get all 8 billion+ humans to agree on a plan of attack would be a near-impossible task. By the time we'd be done trying to coordinate a plan, I figure the lions and cheetahs would have already devoured us, not to mention the larger animals like the elephants....

I'm really pushing the limits of "No Stupid Questions"...

The perspective in the room is completely off. I mean, just look at that desk and computer!

Named after Digg, which lost most of its userbase to Reddit and is now a shell of its former self.

I've always thought of it this way: permissive licenses ensure freedom for developers. Copyleft licenses ensure freedom for end-users.

If you didn't like Part 1, you definitely won't like Part 2. Hopefully Part 3 can wrap thing up for a satisfying conclusion.
