SearingTruth

@[email protected]

I'm a simple and compassionate Citizen of the Earth.

And have been online almost since the internet began with one hope, and message of it.

Most of the things I post are from a personal book of observations on humanity I've been compiling since I was 14, titled "Wisdom, Warning, and Tyranny." With some from a plan to assure and forward humanity titled "A Future of the Brave."

But please be warned that internet searches for me and "Wisdom, Warning, and Tyranny", or "A Future of the Brave" are often misdirected to other, possibly dangerous, websites. And the links are often very sophisticated, even including some of my most popular observations in the results.

I understand that's odd, and given that I'm really no one I'm just as surprised as you.

In any case my old website, and "A Future of the Brave", are found at the most obvious address - http://www.searingtruth.com

Please don't follow any other links unless you know where they lead.

I was psychology and physically tortured in Kern Valley Medical Center in Fresno, Ca decades ago fellow citizen Johnny Profane Âû.

In fact I suffered with a broken left finger for a week as the staff made jokes as it became more swollen and painful and purple.

But it was nothing compared to the psychological and physical torture of those around me, some completely psychotic and unaware even of where they were.

However my patient advocate, Day Armstrong, could do nothing.

And yes I know his name is ironic, but that is actually what it was. We used to laugh about it a lot, and in dire circumstance every joy was comfort.

In the end I was taken into a room the night before I was to be released and threatened by my torturers, headed by Dr. Wally and Nurse Nancy, and told if I made any complaints I would be declared psychotic and not released.

And the next morning I was marched into an office at the end of the hall, physically right before the exit, where one of the lead administrators of Kern Valley Medical Center asked me if I had any complaints.

I hope someone who reads this will not believe it, and demand more details and investigate what I've said believing I am lying.

Only to discover it is true.

I've been rich and middle class and poor, multiple times, my friend the Amygdalai Lama.

But money never mattered.

It is the knowledge of how humanity is valued and disposed that concerns and disturbs me.

/ The boycott is already here — and growing; but the current government has no answers

Some recent examples of boycotts and sanctions against Israel:

  1. , , and recognizing a Palestinian state.

  2. imposing an embargo on Israeli exports.

  3. canceling Israel's participation in a major defense exhibition.

  4. The banning Israeli citizens from entering the country.

  5. A British coffee shop chain, Pret a Manger, canceling its franchise agreement with an Israeli company.

  6. McDonald's facing a boycott in some countries due to its Israeli operations.

  7. The Israeli hi-tech industry, which is a significant contributor to the country's economy, is also being affected by the boycotts.

[...] "McDonald's network also faced a pro-Palestinian boycott that hurt its sales worldwide, according to its reports. In April, the global network acquired the Israeli operation, which consists of 225 branches, from franchisee Omri Padan, [...] McDonald's entry into Israel was one of the harbingers of the end of the Arab boycott that Israel had faced since its establishment. The acquisition of the Israeli operation by the global network was intended to reduce friction between the network and Muslim customers worldwide - among other things, by reducing the identification of the local operation with IDF soldiers and the captives held in Gaza [...] After October 7, Padan led an unprecedented operation of offering a 50% discount to soldiers in uniform at all network branches - and this increased the pressure on the global network. Estimates are that after the deal is completed, McDonald's will reduce or cancel the discount - in the hope of weakening the criticism and boycott against it worldwide."

Possible long-term effects these boycotts will have on the Israeli economy: higher living costs and reduced competitiveness. But the Israeli government's policies and actions are leading to increased international isolation and economic damage, and Israelis will, ultimately, bear the costs of these decisions.

Does this resonate with anyone?

I'm distractable and indecisive and hardly ever get a damn thing done. However, if I decide something's important, I single focus on it and persevere far past the point a normal person would have given up.

Once I decide something's important, I'm infinitely brave. Even if my rational mind knows it's not worth dying over, I will risk my life over stupid shit simply because I never checked my head and changed course when it was appropriate.
