I have decided to switch to Linux Mint from windows. I don't use computer for work that much. And for my personal use I'm switching to Linux Mint. I have heard a lot about it. So giving it a try. I know about emulating windows in linux to play window games. But how do you use cracks and stuff?? Does emulating also access my 100%...
Our data includes anonymized API calls to traditional search indexes like Google, Yandex, Mojeek and Brave, specialized search engines like Marginalia, and sources of vertical information like Wolfram Alpha, Apple, Wikipedia, Open Meteo, Yelp, TripAdvisor and other APIs
I don't want to be that guy, but technically they said they are using traditional indexes like Google, not that they are in fact using Google. But I guess that is splitting hairs.
Also, maybe they just dropped Google from their indexes? And what's more: Why does it matter if they are using Google at all, when the results are satisfying?
Knowing which indexes they are using exactly would be nice to know, though.

I've run passwd and sudo su; passwd to change password for root and my account. Password is set correctly when using sudo and su but whenever I get prompted by pkexec it accepts only the old password. I've rebooted my system to make sure it was not an issue....
It is good for privacy but also has the nifty feature of not sucking and being reliable. It is so much better that Teams and my audio works reliability.
I have a collection of about ~110 4K Blu-Ray movies that I've ripped and I want to take the time to compress and store them for use on a future Jellyfin server....
Keep in mind at least your server should be able to decode whatever you choose in hardware, so AV1 might still not be a good idea depending on your current hardware and upgrade plans.
You're right, I forgot about the on-the-fly transcoding abilities of Jellyfin for a moment. But still, the server should be able to handle whatever codec they choose in hardware.
EDIT : I'm going to use a Lenovo P500 (at around $130) with 8 threads (will upgrade it later) and 64gb of RAM. It support the E5 v4 family so that's great. If someone knows the power consumption, that would be cool!...
