Krunner is better at displaying longer search results. The launcher truncates anything longer than 1 line. Dictionary definitions are an example.
Krunner also keeps what was last typed in, which is very useful if I'm adding up a bunch of numbers, or if I need to switch to a different application before using the result.
I want to see if I can get a spark of the "old internet" back by making a starting page for myself with all kinds of cool websites. But not sure where to start because Google obviously will not work for this....
So far I've checked several "getting started"'s and FAQ's and Google and everyone just tells me that it's possible but nobody tells me fucking WHERE. So obviously I'm in need of help. Preferably with a diagram or colourful pictures....
I'm pretty comftable with linux mint right now but i want to peruse the wares so to speak, what are some cool or interesting distros that do things differently than mint?...
It seems to be caused by the FediAct addon, which doesn't make any sense. Disabling the addon fixes the page without needing a reload, so it must be a CSS issue rather than an exception. Edit: it seems the addon is overriding the fadeIn keyframe, but it looks fixed in the github version.
It looks like it's the addon's fault, and has already been fixed in the github version. It's also been abandoned, so it's probably not worth keeping around anyway.
https://crates.io/search?q=neofetch brings up 21 versions to choose from (21 are actual neofetch clones). There is also a library to help you write even more of them.

KRunner vs Application Launcher (use cases?)
Lately, I found out that Application Launcher also features all the functionality I use from KRunner....
What are your favourite lesser known websites?

Okay, I give up. How do I user-block instances?
