3d printing a tool wall at my desk. most of it is taken from printables but this hook I designed myself. ( beehaw.org )

I scanned the wrench on a regular document scanner and used the siluette to get the optimum hook shape. It worked incredibly well and it sits perfectly. Thats important because I don't want the tools to raddle every time someone slams the door or I open a window.

Fixed my washing machine today!

Today i'm actually proud of myself. I'm good with wood, textiles, gardening, trees etc. But metal, machines, electronics don't come natural to me at all. I learned to take care of bicycles or chainsaws because I had to but those scary household machines never. Until today. The machine stopped midway, full of water and clothes....

I'm almost wrapped up with filling voids, bark inclusions, and knot holes in the boards for the bookcase. If our garage was climate controlled I expect this process would have gone faster; the same could be said if I had more horizontal working space for staging and filling. Once everything is done curing I should be able to go...
