: 69% of school buildings housing displaced people in the Gaza Strip were exposed to Israeli bombardment or were directly damaged.

This is a new low in any war in recent history.
Any other country would have been subject to countless sanctions, global condemnations and even blockades, but not Israel.

The the morning of May 11, the army spokesperson announced that the had begun a new operation in , the city and adjacent refugee camp in northern . Evacuation orders were issued to residents of several neighborhoods, but many have been unable to leave; others have decided to stay, given the lack of any safe areas throughout the Strip.

The latest Israeli attack on the camp, involving both aircraft and ground troops, has had devastating consequences: the has bombed and bulldozed entire residential squares, markets, and food warehouses, exacerbating the already desperate humanitarian crisis, while corpses remain scattered in the streets.

Sabri Abu Al-Nasr, 43 years old, is a resident of the camp who took refuge in the -affiliated Al-Fakhoura , in an attempt to escape the Israeli bombing. “The conditions in the camp are terrible, and no one is spared from the artillery and air bombardment,” he told +972. “Israeli snipers are on high buildings — they shoot at every moving object.

On Oct. 29, Abu Al-Nasr lost his wife Nisreen (40) and his children Nisma (16), Hamza (14), and Mohammad (13) when Israel bombed a residential square adjacent to the family’s home. Their bodies remain trapped under the rubble, preventing Abu al-Nasr from being able to properly bury his loved ones. Seven months later, amid a new Israeli assault, he says “the smell of death and blood wafts throughout the camp.”

/ Israel’s revenge attack on Jabalia

This article in Al-Sharq Al-Awsat documents the massive destruction caused by the recent Israeli military operation in the refugee camp in northern Gaza Strip. It describes how entire residential blocks, medical centers, aid facilities, and water wells were demolished, leaving the camp in ruins.

Testimonies from returning residents like Umm Fadi (أم فادي) and Munir al-Masri (منير المصري) recount how their homes and neighborhoods were completely leveled. They accuse Israel of taking revenge on Jabalia, which has been a center of resistance.

[…] "My son and grandson were martyred during the first incursion into the camp, and now in this new incursion they destroyed our home, and destroyed all the homes of our neighbors. Even the schools were burned and large parts of them were demolished. What happened is they destroyed everything. They completely erased the camp."

[…] "The operation is clear. Its objective and results are clear. They destroyed our homes, water wells, medical clinics and schools - not and its capabilities. The occupation even burned down and destroyed headquarters, leaving nothing of it remaining."

Israel claims the operation targeted Hamas' efforts to regroup in the camp. However, residents say Israel destroyed civilian infrastructure like markets and bakeries rather than just Hamas capabilities. But its actions show intent to erase signs of life in Jabalia. One merchant says shops and stalls were deliberately burned down, and another woman says Israel executed her brothers.

With ongoing rescue efforts by civil defense crews to recover bodies from the rubble, the Israeli operation comes across as involving widespread and indiscriminate destruction in the camp, far beyond its stated military targets.

/ Israelis Attacking Known Aid Worker Locations

[…] Israel’s attack on April 1 on the World Central Kitchen convoy, which killed seven workers, far from being an isolated “mistake,” is just one of at least eight incidents that Human Rights Watch identified in which aid organizations and UN agencies had communicated with Israeli authorities the GPS coordinates of an aid convoy or premises and yet Israeli forces attacked the convoy or shelter without any warning.

[…] In these eight incidents, Israeli forces killed at least 15 people, including 2 children, and injured at least 16 others.

    Commissioner General:

    • Again, about 800,000 people, half of 's population, are forced to flee due to the Israeli invasion.
The claim that civilians in Gaza can go to safe areas is false
      • Humanitarian organizations no longer have resources such as food and essential items to prepare
      • The time has come to agree on a ceasefire and any further escalation will cause more suffering to civilians.

The classrooms are torched. Walls are blown out. There is rubble everywhere.

[cont’d] Israeli operations in have closed a main crossing point for aid; 360,000 fled

[…] , the main U.N. aid agency in Gaza, estimated that about 360,000 people had fled the southern city since the Israeli military gave its first evacuation order a week ago […] They are moving to empty tracts of land, including Al-Mawasi, a small strip along the coast, designated as an expanded humanitarian area by Israel.

[…] But Shaina Low of the Norwegian Refugee Council aid agency said it was not set up to receive uprooted families. There was "no space to install latrines or water points. There are huge piles of solid waste. My colleague spoke about seeing donkey carcasses on top of trash, so there are all sorts of health concerns," Low said.
