So if I tagged you I would see your username on posts etc you make all across lemmy highlighted?
That's a cool idea then I can highlight people I like be even better if I could also highlight people I don't want to engage with because of the way they are.
I never look at usernames I think they're to nondescript to notice
That's specifically what I use it for, if someone's being an asshole in a thread, i throw a little do not engage tag on them cause with Lemmy's size I'll probably run into them again
Agreed. But if the desktop website allready has it, than probably it's only an api call away. Seems easy enough to implement (I might be wrong, but that's my first guess). Is connect open source?
You are just seeing the prior cached entry when returning home, it doesn't reload the posts automatically (saves a good deal on processing/bandwidth). You'll need to refresh if you want to see it registered.
By design, you'll see your comment and then the reply below it that you clicked on in the inbox. You only see that one conversation thread, so you won't see other replies to your comment. You need to hit the "view full post" button to see everything.
Something's wrong with mine then. I don't even see your comment after clicking on it, in the inbox. I do see the replies to yours, though. I have to click 'view full post', then scroll down to see the context.
