I first joined Lemmy back during the big Reddit exodus of last year. I like many others wanted an alternative to Reddit, and I thought that this might've been the one. I made two accounts, one on lemmy.world and another on sh.itjust.works, in the June of last year that I used on and off for about 4 months....

Yeah I've been playing Pokemon Sacred Gold on my phone, really gives me GBC pipes with the size and everything it's like childhood all over.

I have the emulator and the games on my pc and my phone though so fuck Nintendo.

[feature request] allow changing the color of user notes

I used boost for a while since I used to always use it for reddit. But connect finally won over and is my main browser, one thing I miss though, is in using the user tagging system, boost had a bright green tag on users you used this feature on. This allowed easy identification of your tags. Not saying comment needs to have it...

Why is there a surge of deodorant products mostly advertised to women in the US?

So I have balls and yeah they're the first thing on my body to start to smell. I can skip a shower if I'm in a hurry and I don't smell much. That's with working a job that's usually physical. I was a punk kid fucking punk girls when I was younger and we didn't bathe every day. I didn't notice much smell then....

I never use shampoo, only soap. I live in a place that is always hot and humid. We're in out coldest time of the year now and it's currently 27 degrees Celsius outside at 0830

You cant expect someone to want you if you dont want yourself.

You also cant expect someone to be your emotional punching bag, that will always drive people away.

You need to sort out your own issues first.

I see you're on meds and therapy, you need to keep working at it.

Another option is lower your own expectations, you're not perfect so dont chase perfect in someone else. ( probably lead to long term unhappyness though)
