Distinguishing needs from preferences can be challenging.

Focus on what’s essential for your well-being vs. what brings comfort or joy.

Listen to your body and emotions.

What’s happening?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but life tends not to be worth it without some comfort & joy. Without them you are either fulfilling the capitalists dream of not earning enough to live on whilst working yourself to the bone or are suffering in some other way that leaves you totally drained & feeling worthless.

I'm joy deprived.
Comfort doesnt exist in my life. I'm existing in a perpetual state of discomfort. I dont like it here.

Are we in hell?

@theautisticcoach @actuallyautistic of course, comfort and joy are also essential for our wellbeing.

@theautisticcoach @actuallyautistic I'm tired, my mind wants to just sleep. I suspect a recent event and persistent anxiety it triggered has driven be back into a shutdown, or that I didn't actually recover from the previous one. But it makes me feel guilty, that I should be able to pull myself out of this.It makes me sad too, as it makes me face this particular limitation and how it affects my life in general.
