Came over night on Fedora Kinoite.

Quite like it, everything is rooound. In Dolphin with the right-click select I can now make a circle!

But why are the lower window borders still square? And that is with Qt/KDE apps!

Poorly it introduced multiple crashes this session... error reports already sent, btw I dont think downloading debug symbols works on Fedora Kinoite?

i switched from gnome to KDE two days ago and i LOVE it. Love to customize stuff, the control it gives me. just upgraded to 6.1 on my fedora 40 install. Everything working perfectly, no bugs yet!!

Not sure when I will see this update. On arch, and have checked for pacman updates (and via yay aur helper) and I am still on 6.0.5. Hmmmm....

I love plasma. It's no longer even buggy for me, and it's really fast and beautiful. You know they are doing something right when windows and Mac users are impressed by it.

It doesn't quite beat mac in terms of looks but it's just so much more powerful.

This release is super important for Nvidia users to try.

Plasma 6 has way less bugs for me that Plasma 5!

Which is a very good proof that you are on a really good way.

I still have 103 open reported bugs :D but I didnt have a crashed session, needing a hard shutdown etc. since quite a while.

Using Fedora Kinoite on an all Intel Laptop though, not AMD anymore. Maybe that is a cause too.

I haven’t had any crashes on AMD with an 7800XT. Not sure if other models are affected differently.

I had freezes on wakeup from suspend all the time on a Thinkpad T495 with mobile AMD Ryzen Vega 8 graphics.

The issues on kernel or whatever never lead to anything as far as I remember.
