Piemanding , to memes in Too powerful for their Euro arteries

Seems to have happened to everything but Costco's food court. I guess it's a strategy to get people in the door. Their hotdog/drink combo is still $1.50.

Piemanding , to memes in Short guy problems

Stands for Battle and Scout I believe.

Piemanding , to ADHD memes in Reader's Block

Got the A-1 iPad mini for reading and never installed Youtube on it. It is my dedicated reading tablet and I love it. Usually I wouldn't buy Apple products, but the new processor had me feeling a bit excited. The Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Fire 13" both had glaring issues and reading the internet's negative views on android tablets left me feeling meh. The better kindle e-readers are really expensive too so I thought to just buy a fully functional high quality tablet instead.

Piemanding , to Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ in Valve confirms your Steam account cannot be transferred to anyone after you die

It's the biggest video game marketplace/launcher/DRM makers for PC. If you play video games on PC most games you buy would probably have to be through steam. Their parent company, Valve, is the only multi-billion dollar company I like because so far they have stayed pro-consumer.

Piemanding , to Technology in Nearly all Nintendo 64 games can now be recompiled into native PC ports to add proper ray tracing, ultrawide, high FPS, and more

Yes. I know Zelda Ocarina of Time has many things, including walking speed, tied to framerate because of ZFG. Also, the 3DS remake reused a lot of the code and several things tied to framerate got quicker because it ran at 30 fps instead of 20. Items despawn quicker because they despawn at a set amount of frames.

Piemanding , to Technology in Stack Overflow bans users en masse for rebelling against OpenAI partnership — users banned for deleting answers to prevent them being used to train ChatGPT

People like being social and having discourse online. Probably what brought you here in the first place.

Piemanding , to Technology in Proton Mail Discloses User Data Leading to Arrest in Spain

Not to mention the fact that any new place your data is stored is a honeypot for criminals to try to hack. The more sensitive the data the better. Not every organization has the same protections and they will get your data stolen at some point.

Piemanding , to memes in Don't forget to tip your doctor for a good service

Heard people saying it was Valve who took it off those countries. Do we know for sure if it was Valve or Sony?

Piemanding , to memes in It’s the same

...bogini?

Piemanding , to 196 in You call that a rule

He certainly has gravity. If his gravitational lensing is enough we can solve all these issues and more.

Piemanding , to No Stupid Questions in How many floors are under an apartment on the second floor? (No basement)

Yes, but we are asking how many levels.

Piemanding , to Right to Repair in Kobo partners with iFixit to make new e-readers more repairable

Just looked it up and iFixit is not publicly traded so the potential for enshitification is much lower, but still possible. If iFixit goes public I will lose all faith in them.

Piemanding , to Right to Repair in Kobo partners with iFixit to make new e-readers more repairable

I just hope iFixit doesn't become the bad guy as the only repairability game in town.
