Using the -a option will unmount everything in /etc/mtab. You should usually be specific about what you’re unmounting. Check the umount man page for details about its options.
If they’re containerized they’ll run in a Kubernetes cluster, I’m sure you know this. Why not build the K8s infrastructure you need to get them functional? Or maybe Helm charts if you’re up for it.
