The line I was referring to is the propaganda that it is antisemitic to criticise Israel which is nonsense but it is nonsense that many people have swallowed it hook, line and sinker

And the war did not start on the 7th October. Its been going on for decades. That doesn't make what Hamas did right. Nor does any of it make Israeli war crimes right. At the beginning of this latest phase in the war shortly after Oct 7th Israel cut off humanitarian aid, water, food, power to Gaza. They make it hard for humanitarian aid to get in still. That targets hostages, civilians and Hamas- everyone in Gaza. That's just for starters.

Whilst it doesn't make what Hamas did right what happened in the decades before Oct 7th & Israeli gov & IDF's treatment of Palestinians it does make it more understandable. it wasn't just a random attack

Israeli govt & IDF's treatment of Palestinians is no doubt a recruitment drive for Hamas even if that is not the intention, which it probably isn't.

I doubt Hamas are above using human shields too. The Israeli govt claim they are the most moral military. I've never heard of Hamas commenting on how moral they are. But IDF & Israeli govt are the only ones using access to food etc as a weapon of war and slaughtering thousands.

I was talking in general & I wasn't saying they were actually doing so just if it would help them they would- morals rather than what they are actually doing. It certainly does seem pointless nowadays.
