You should probably read the article. The case is only about how the Archive did more than just library stuff—they made a ton of copies and gave them out for free, then argued that the cost of maintenance somehow made that act legal.

We’ve always been worried that developing Free and Open Source Software would not be recognized as a charitable cause by the German tax system, so we were glad when the tax office originally approved our non-profit status in 2021. But now we have received a notice from the same tax office that our non-profit status has been withdrawn. This came with no advance warning or explanation. Earlier this year we went through a successful tax audit, which in fact resulted in some favourable adjustments as we’ve been paying too much tax. But the punctuation isn't part of the original text, and putting the punctuation inside the quote marks loses information on the original text's punctuation. Periods do not need any puny comfort from two fucking lines.

It also says that sex change threatens dignity.

Anyways I agree with howrar, and all the downvotes on your thread show how many people also do. Language isn't something that College Board can really regulate. They can punish you for not following their rules, sure, but the thing about language is that it changes.

This is a pretty silly-cal conversation. "Facts and opinions are different things." was only a minor facet in circuitfarmer's reply anyways. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subjectification_(linguistics) literally turned many sentences into opinions. If we're really gonna look at these from a lingusitics standpoint, there's nothing that indicates if it's an opinion from just syntax analysis. It's only because we often associate "5 stars" and "worth" with opinions that it looks like an opinion.
