Scott Brick, the audiobook performer, pisses me off.
He has a commanding, sonorous, soothing voice, and can read without sounding like he's reading, but his cadence irks.

No more Brick. Enderverse, Foundation, the list goes on. No more Brick! Give me queer, gender non-conforming black people. And pay them properly, dangit!
Hey everyone! My good friend is up for Supermom of the year! Please read about her and vote! She's been through hell, she really needs this. Please? 💞💞💞🥹🥹🥹 #BlackMastodon

"Prior to 1954, there were about 82,000 Black teachers in the United States," write a team of academics for @TheConversationUS. Although companies have created detectors to help spot #deepfakes, studies have found that biases in the data used to train these tools can lead to certain demographic groups being unfairly targeted.
A team of researchers discovered new methods that improve both the fairness and the accuracy of these detection algorithms by teaching them about human diversity
