Wastewater systems in the UK are basically just dumping nearly everything directly into rivers, lakes and the sea, with no processing. It's a big national scandal at the moment. Russian hackers can hardly make anything any worse, and the most damage they could do would be giving the water companies another excuse to not carry out their legal duty to process sewage before dumping it.
Problem is the cunts in the Kreml can always blame the hackers for it and that they did not act on their order. But make no mistake, Russia is fighting a hybrid war against the west, since we started supporting Ukraine with weapons and equipment.
agree, the war is going on since 2014 and I also agree that there were always russian attempts like acts of misinformation. But I would argue that this full blown acts of sabotage, assasinations, spying are definetly an answer to their current battlefield situation and their hatred of the west because of the ongoing support of Ukraine.
