Transportation is not, it's energy intensive producing it, not transporting it. LNG don't require much refrigeration normally once liquified.

It takes a lot of energy to vaporise LNG and the tanks are designed so that the boil off equals to what the ships engines need .

Not in the least it's the most effective means for shipping methane across such distances. LNG remains liquid across the voyage, and any boil off is used for the ship engines that do not typically use diesel.

Again it's because businesses make revenue, i.e. Fiat money and people trade that money and exchange it for things etc...

That's faith in a business not money

Comparison never made much sense, everyone uses money. The same cannot be said for Bitcoin

supercriticalcheese , to Ask Lemmy in Name a Superhero you just can't stand

I agree, they are just not for me either... It just feels the cinema industry focusing on what is safe to sell well enough.

Maybe the original material (comics) is way better than what I could see on TV growing in the 90s , not sure.

As a European city dweller the concept of leaving 1h outside town is impossible to wrap my head around 😅

But okay fair enough in the absence of a routine no much of a choice:).

You can also make an IoT special WiFi connection without any links in the rest of the home network.

Some routers have this or at the very least a guest network option.

I automatically set to start at a time I am likely to be away.

In case I am at home I just override the cleaning run and command it to return to the base. In my case it's rare.

Maybe you can set it at the time you typically go to the supermarket?

Beautiful view but the cat is facing inside, I guess it's more interesting to them!

supercriticalcheese , to Games in Cyberpunk 2077 director thanks fans as the game hits a 95% positive review rating on Steam

That's weird did you tweak the graphics settings?

I am using the steam deck defaults and it is limited to 30 FPS. But it's stable it didn't bother me so far.

If I were to unlimit the FPS it stays in the 30-40 fps based on a small run I did now in Dogtown.
