Same. They've replaced Pink Ladies as my favorite. The texture and perfect amount of sweetness make them such a joy!

My partner had another of the holiday packs. He said most of them were okay but not awful, but the Buttered Roll soda tasted like carbonated butter and it was horrible.

I used to work at Starbucks and we'd make weird shit out of curiosity. The best one was uncut cold brew coffee and their strawberry refresher base. Uncut cold brew and lemonade wasn't terrible but way too acidic for my liking.

Agreed! I'm also grossed out by the people who would get the Passion tea (which is made with hibiscus and lemongrass, and is very acidic) with heavy cream. It curdled damn near instantly and was just.... nasty.

Light hypersensitivity: Has anyone tried "migraine" or colored glasses for it?

If you have, how well has it helped? Did different colors, such as those driving yellow tinted ones, help more? I have some transitions glasses, but that only helps outside. I saw on at least one site rose colored migraine glasses and am thinking about getting a pair.

I have my glasses slightly grey tinted as well as transitions lenses, and that helps for me. Is that an option for you?

How does he open doors? I'd love to hear more 🙂

That's really smart! I've never heard of a cat that could use a knob before.

I read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest when I was eleven. Some of the nonsense rhyme still comes back to me when I'm tired - she's a good fisherman, catches hens, puts em inna pens / wire, briar, limber lock, three geese inna flock.

I also read She's Come Undone and I Know This Much is True by Wally Lamb when I was in high school. Both are extremely fucked when it comes to talking about mental health and hospitalizations.

My partner said that he wasn't honestly surprised, but if it helped to get a diagnosis he was with me all the way. He's been super supportive and helped me find things that help with overstimulation.

Yup. My parents weren't willing to even think about testing me, so it was "stop that, just be normal".

My therapist pointed out that a lot of autistic traits are extremely similar to trauma expression, and that it's often hard to judge which is which.

I feel like I'm an oddball because I tend to trust people until they give me a reason but to. That's led to some bad experiences, but it also gives my "this person is doing shady stuff" sense a boost. It's not insincere, but neither is waiting to judge :)
