Lol no.

But... they've long since figured out how to monetize without the content. So, that's a hard disagree from me...

forrgott , to Canada in Water in N.W.T.'s Great Slave Lake is now so low, some houseboats won't float

Yeah, that's some scary levels of cognitive distance on full display here. But, at times like this, we must try to suppress any desire to say, "I told you so." When somebody makes a statement that might imply they are somewhat aware at least of the effects of such cognitive dissonance, they need compassion, not contempt, to find a way out of their own mazes.

Um, please source specifically the entirety of your claims...???

forrgott , to Canada in Federal court overturns American transgender woman's persecution-based refugee claim

As much as I'd like to concede the point, it sure sounds like more than a run of the mill domestic dispute. However, I will say other than that, I can see the basis of your argument.

forrgott , to Canada in Federal court overturns American transgender woman's persecution-based refugee claim

Right, because only people you approve of can be persecuted. Whatever, dude...

forrgott , to Ask Lemmy in What's a philosophical (not overtly political) position that you hold?

How does the fact that point of observation affects the outcome of the experiment fit into this? If there is no consciousness, why does it matter where you observe, as in the case of varying outcomes of the double slit experiment?
