Seven a.m. and I cannot sleep. Very happy to say that my doctoral defense yesterday went as well as it could.
So, as my co-supervisor put it, I'm now "on the academic market" :D

I think the best part of this (except for my wonderful colleagues and friends, who celebrated me yesterday) is that I may now write about whatever I feel like (after finishing the projects I'm already involved in …)!

So proud of my colleague, brand new Dr. Korobenko, who just defended her thesis about parchment fragments and how it's possible to locate the same writer of these through the mistakes in their handwriting. Dear and colleagues: In order to help a colleague with a project application that may also help a project I'm involved with, I'm wondering what, if any, arguments there are for -of-speech-tagging as an accessibility feature? Does anyone have an example of how this can help people with non-normative functionalities?

Thank you; it seems I was unclear. I meant as in helping for example blind people in some way that I simply cannot think of because I do not have that issue myself.

Could you please give me some examples of what kind of AI the successful applicant should have worked with? Is it necessary to have such features in one's doctoral thesis, for example, or more relevant to be genuinely interested and have some knowledge, and a background in such areas as or ? Thank you!

Phew, writing -PF applications is tiring! Nice to have a veranda with growing plants, and an oyster stout to drink. And nice to forget about the rest of the world for a short while.
