For a while Reddit dot com has been blocking my browser since I use a VPN, but old reddit was still functional for me. Although I closed my reddit account just after the API-exodus, I still frequent the niche communities which has hyper-specific topics discussed....

I was recently banned from the subreddit, r/Robinhood for making a comment about Robinhood's shady practices. I quoted their own rule, "Don't be you", calling them hypocrites, and received a 7 day ban from Reddit the following day....

It may not be that long compared to some of yours out here. It stings because that account was my main account, so many memories in it and I even met my wife through it. Unfortunately, I have recently experienced what I can only describe as sabotage on my account....

I've been the main moderator of the same community since 2016. This evening, i approved my last comment....

reddit is telling it's future investors with recent news and more info on their IPO, that they're currently selling and looking to sell their user's data to companies wanting to train their LLMs, including Google....

When you try to edit a Reddit comment in their mobile web app, it deletes all line breaks from your comment so you have to remember to manually put them back before submitting....

Make a subreddit and set it to private. Then 3rd party apps should work. I currently use boost for reddit. You might need to look for a binary on apkpure or smth....
