I'm not sure about indie games, but games of the Star Ocean or Valkyrie Profile franchise are not AAA games and they would never get a big buget for production because they most like doesn't sell that much. I would consider them small-scale games. Also World of Final Fantasy was a nice spinoff with a much lower buget that the big AAA games. I don't think SE have to do always big budget games and it's also nice for them to test things out. The indie jrpg market is not that big that a nice indie production wouldn't get any recognition anymore if it's done well.
Yeah, I think if the interviewer was asking questions in English, they probably would have used the term "AA" or "small" for the type of games in question.

About the same reaction I had. Loved the MC's design but once I put it down for something else I ended up not picking it up again before having to return it to the library. Was planning on checking it out again until this version (and especially the PC port) got announced.
I know a person that has supported a Kickstarter game about 10 years ago. Dev is constantly Posting updates, so it's not silent, just takes a lot time. 2 years is very short
And here I'm thinking it's not far enough, considering how sparse the trailer was (and there's virtually zero additional footage on their Kickstarter page). That said, they've already raised half of their goal. Between this and Runa, it'd be cool if we ended up with a successful western Europe JRPG dev.
I certainly see the Chrono Cross and Lost Odyssey influence. Hopefully the combat pace is quite a bit quicker than the latter.
Feel like I'm not likely to pull the trigger on another version of P3 unless it has all of the content included in previous versions. No Kotone, no sale.
Same reason I never picked it up. They certainly sounded like it was never going to happen in interviews, but this was also Atlus' best launch for a title ever, so who knows.
I can't understand why on Earth they would release another incomplete version of the game when this is very clearly the best opportunity to release a definitive version with all content. It comes off as either tone deaf to their audience, or as a crass attempt to milk yet another future release with the P3P Kotone content added.
I believe them when they said it was just not in their budget. This already was their largest Persona in terms of voiced character lines, much less all the other development that would go into the option. Disappointing for sure, but I'm not at all surprised.
I genuinely don't think we're seeing her in a future DLC or re-release.
The game Persona 3 Reload is already out and the expansion pass is also obtainable. But the Aigis Episode is part of the expansion pass that get released in September. This episode is part of the enhanced version of the original Persona 3 is get released as part of the expansion pass instead of a special edition
Oh, I thought that part of the DLC was out already, but I didn't realize the the answers part wasn't included yet. It's kind of a rip off, seeing how it's not part of the premium edition that is supposed to include all DLC.
I was wrong, there is a dlc pack with costumes and personas and there is the expansion pass. you were right, the premium edition has only the dlc pack, not the expansion pass.
91 is a rather high score for PC Gamer, and they are usually hard on games for technical issues over there. Good sign for those of us that were waiting for a PC port.
Not a fan, the artwork is great, can't say much about the story as I don't think I've ever made it more than 10 hours into one of the games...
The music really throws me off, it doesn't fit the setting or the going-ons at all. There will be this big dramatic scene, lots of tension, and fucking upbeat circus music plays.
