Firecudas are only a bit faster than Barracudas, if you want cheap then wait for the benchmark $20/TB sale price. Yes they are CMR unlike 8TB SMR barracudas but if you want good performance and price per TB all at once you should be going for 10TB+ anyway.

Great sale price for a reputable PSU maker.

I don't know who would have everything but a power supply for their build ready, but if you were waiting for a deal suitable for mid to highend PCs this is a good one. The power supply is the one component I wouldn't advise on cheaping out on.

Take the recommendation from reddit with a grain of salt: if you are looking for a Mac alternative, you should look into the battery life before deciding. This also has a touch screen and pen, so I'd say its much more an iPad/yoga/surface alternative with better keyboard than an alternative for Mac.

Also keep in mind that Linux on galaxy books is generally very unsupported and many components do not have drivers

I don't think I'd buy a new laptop with only 8GB RAM, especially if it's running Windows.
