Hell yeah, this was (and is) a bummer for queer couples that want to have kids. We want to start families just like heterosexual couples, but stuff like A.I. and surrogacy can be extraordinarily expensive. And these so-called "pro life" politicians aren't taking steps to make it any more affordable to concieve while they scream about every life being sacred and replacement theory and all that nonsense.
Honestly, stuff like underwater welding should be done by robots. Stuff like that is so unbelievably dangerous. I could see a lot of dangerous jobs getting swapped over to robots (bomb defusal, hotwork, chemical processing or oil rig repairs when the plant is shut down, etc).
Russia and China always do this shit, it's going to be very problematic when one of their poorly trained pilots screws up and kills a bunch of people and themselves.
Not to mention google and apple deliberately C&Ding stuff like the awesome first party youtube apps and stuff like project islandwood. They deliberately tried to stopp their apps from working because they knew what would happen if WP succeeded.
Even some domestic brands like Juiced go on sale for like, $1,200 for a Juiced Ripracer. Aventon appears to make good stuff too, if you want bike shop support. I've had my bike for a month and put 320 miles on it. Fun little bike :)
194 nautical miles isn't terribly far, though. For port to port, sure. For oceanic shipping, I don't think 194 is going to cut it. I think we will probably have to do SMRs or efuels to really cut cargo ship and cruise ship emissions when crossing the Pacific or Atlantic. Though I don't know where nuclear powered shipping (in non-military applications) is in terms of progress.
I even had Youtube premium for a bit. Revanced is nice just to dial back some of the bells and whistles that isn't relevant to the video platform. The official app feels clunky.

Seems like the root many of the problems in the middle east pretty much all lie with Iran, especially its murderous elders who donate weapons and train various paramilitary and terrorist organizations. Seems like a huge thorn in the side for that entire region.
