You're right in general, but Bibi is a symptom, not a cause. The Israeli public has always been pro-genocide, and they're shifting to, not away, from the right. We need to recognize that a solution is only possible if the international community forces Israel to compromise.
No he said the only ones who mind the borders of Gaza are Hamas and PIJ. Meaning the people themselves don't care. That's completely wrong no matter how you look at it. Also many high-ranking Israeli officials have already expressed desire to expel all Gazans, and it's reached the level of official consideration.
