The death of Hind Rajab [Panel 1] Hind was fleeing Gaza City with her family when their car appeared to come under fire from an Israeli tank. There is a recording of Hind's 15 year old cousin Lalan speaking on the phone to a dispatcher at the Palestinian Red Crescent They are shooting at us. The tank is next to us [Drawing of a Merkava tank] Then there is gunfire and screams and the line cuts out [Panel 2] Hind was now trapped in the car with the dead bodies of her family. She was 6 years old. Hind stayed on the line with the ambulance service for three hours. I'm so scared, please come, Come take me. You will come and take me? For three hours [Drawing of a Tar 21 Tavor assault rifle] [Panel 3] The Palestinian Red Crescent negotiated with the Israel army for safe passage so an ambulance crew could go an save Hind. Agreement was reached and an ambulance crew was dispatched They were never heard from again. Hind was never heard from again.     The world in general, and Jews in particular, will be safer when the Zionist state no longer exists.

    As Miko Peled observed, Israel and Palestine are the same place. He believes that Jews and Arabs can live together peacefully. That may be true, but by all appearances, it's true of probably less than 20% of the population. The remaining 80% would need to be homed elsewhere.

    Palestine is sacred to more than Judaism and Islam. Ideally, I'd like to see it established as World Heritage. Protected by the world at large and thus needing no armed forces. I can dream, can't I?

    What of the other 80%? Netanyahu advocates a state in Sinai for Palestinians, so let's make that two states. I think of them as sanatoria. Unarmed and heavily guarded, to protect them from each other and the world from them.

    Plus a couple of very large prisons.

    The began on Oct. 7 when invaded Israel, killed more than 1,200 people and tortured and raped some of its victims. The militant group took about 240 people and is believed to still be holding about 100 people captive.
